Interstate 90 (I-90)

Interstate 90 (I-90) is the longest Interstate Highway in the United States, spanning approximately 3,020 miles. It stretches from Seattle, Washington, in the west to Boston, Massachusetts, in the east.

I-90 crosses 13 states: Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and Massachusetts. Key cities along its route include Spokane, Billings, Sioux Falls, Madison, Chicago, Cleveland, and Albany.

The highway spans several major rivers, including the Mississippi River at La Crosse, Wisconsin, and the Missouri River at Chamberlain, South Dakota. It also passes through a variety of landscapes, including the Cascade Range, the Rocky Mountains, the Great Plains, and the Appalachian Mountains.


U.S. Route 1

U.S. Route 1 is a major north–south highway that runs along the East Coast of the United States. Spanning approximately 2,369 miles, it stretches from Key West, Florida, in the south to Fort Kent, Maine, at the Canadian border.

Established in 1926, U.S. Route 1 is one of the oldest and most historic highways in the country. It passes through several major cities, including Miami, Jacksonville, Richmond, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City, and Boston.

The route often parallels Interstate 95 but provides a more scenic and direct path through many downtown areas. Known for its historical significance, U.S. Route 1 served as a primary travel corridor before the interstate system and continues to play an important role in both local and long-distance travel.
