Ian has always been something of a junk drawer for information: American history, politics, trivia, obscure facts, and the occasional detail no one asked for but everyone ends up enjoying. He credits much of this to growing up watching Jeopardy! with his father, who seemed physically incapable of letting Alex Trebek finish a clue before shouting out the right answer.
