The Honorable Katie Britt
U.S. Senator for Alabama
416 Russell Senate Office Building
Washington, DC 20510
Dear Senator Britt,
On behalf of AMAC Action, the advocacy affiliate of the Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC), with over 2 million members nationwide, I write to express our support for the More Opportunities for Moms to Succeed (MOMS) Act. This vital legislation reflects the kind of principled, pro-family leadership that our nation desperately needs.
Our members have witnessed the erosion of the family unit over time, and we understand deeply the consequences of a society that fails to support mothers and the sanctity of life. We are encouraged to see this legislation prioritize the well-being of women during the most critical phases of motherhood – prenatal, postpartum, and early childhood.
Your bill affirms the enduring truth that strong families are the foundation of a strong America. By improving access to pregnancy resources, telehealth services in rural areas, and adoption support, the MOMS Act ensures that no woman feels alone or abandoned in her journey through motherhood. We are particularly heartened to see provisions that assist women in carrying their pregnancies to term and caring for their children afterward. This provision is an investment not only in individual families, but in the moral and demographic future of our country.
We are proud to stand with you and your colleagues in advancing this legislation, and we applaud your steadfast commitment to a culture of life. As an organization representing the generation that raised many of today’s parents, we see the MOMS Act as a bridge of wisdom and compassion between generations. It is a policy rooted in faith, family, and the dignity of every human life.
Thank you for your leadership and we look forward to working with you to advance the MOMS Act in the 119th Congress.
Sincerely,
Andrew J. Mangione Jr.
Senior Vice President
